This "tip-of-the-hat" was written for my Franz Liszt CD.
It pays tribute to the many of the composers
who were influenced by him.
This was specifically composed to put a smaller piece between the American in Paris and The Concerto in F on the CD.
I composed this for my father's funeral service in 1997. Recorded here
on the Organteq .
When I ran into my best piano teacher ever in 1999, I told her I was going to compose a piece for HER! This is it. She liked it!
I composed this rag even before I studied with Rudy Schramm. I played it for a class at C. W. Post and got a standing O. That's when I moved on from the Ivory Halls never to return.
I composed this piece for keyboards and it
appears on my Concrete Jungle album. I made
this piano arrangement due to many student requests.
When I produced my Joplin CD for Musicland, I added
one of my own rags which people thought sounded
just like Joplin. That was compliment enough.

This was one of the first pieces I composed while studying with Rudy that he said, "I believe you have become a composer."
Chamber Set No. 1, Op. 3 (1989) Unpublished
This was written for an album that never happened.
I needed to write something for flute, so I added another flute, piano and bass. I like it.
